How does communication help in being doctor?

How does communication help in being doctor? I want to improve my communication skills. But do i actually need it. Why do our communication skills need to be good if you want to be a doctor. I understand that you need to be able to make the patients trust you. But what else?

1. Doctors are also part of a team of other workers. A lot of other people rely on you and vice versa, and it definately will make a difference if you can communicate effectively and efficiently with your coworkers.
2. You need to be able to convey to people what is wrong with them, don't you?
