Where are some creative and unique places to pose for engagement photos in Houston?
My fiance and I will be taking our engagement photos in November. Does anyone who is familiar with Houston, TX have some unique suggestions. We dont want to take them near any of the typical landmarks, parks or statues. We have thought of these, and want our pics to be more personal and unique than that.

- The Gardens on Bammel Lane in the Galleria area right at Westhiemer, the caretakers there keep the grounds beautifull. I have seen lovely weddings there too!
- There is a great spot in North Houston...Mercer Arboretum off 1960 and Aldine Westfield. With the right photographer you cant go wrong! P.S. Make sure to tell your photographer you want black and white photographs as well; with that in mind your options are limitless ;o)
- I would suggest first to find out a good photographer and he/she might have tons of option for you. Otherwise you don't get anywhere. I know of one I recommended before, Lifetime Of Memories Photography - http://www.alifetimeofmemoriesphotograph… Seems to be reliable and good. Cris 281-236-5176 May be he knows better. Do call him. BTW, I am no way associated with him or his business. Just came to know, thats all.
- It might be a bit of a drive, but my husband and I love our engagement pictures on the Kemah Boardwalk. We also went out on a short pier at the clear lake public park (of NASA Parkway) and got some good shots - the photographer was glad that the pier was so close to the parking lot at that location. Think of places you and your fiance frequent or have had a good time at before and they will turn out beautiful no matter where you are :)
