How has communication been effected by technology?

I have a speech to give for my communication class and it would be nice to have different perspectives of peoples opinion on this matter. What are the pro's and con's of it? Personal experience? Any other things that would go great with this would be amazing. Thanks.

It gives more outlets for communication that doesn't involve face to face interaction exs. email im text email Pros-can revise what a person wants to say, often easier to express self in writing Cons-less personal, can be misinterpreted Gives outlets easily accessed far away good for business, shopping, more options Hope this helps =)
3. Communication became easier and faster applying technology to it. I like it because like i said it is easier and faster. I dont have to wait a month for a letter, now just in seconds i received e-mails. I moved far away from my hometown and the only way to communicate with my friends over there is the internet. Sometimes i use the telephone and cell phone but internet is cheaper. Internet is useful cuz it´s extremely fast and cheap. So im super happy cuz i got internet && i can talk to my friends =) Internet can be dangerous u know all this perverts out there using false names and lying. Telephones or/and cell phones are useful but sometimes they wont work because of storms, or signal problems. I got a bunch of stuff on my mind but i think that would help =) Good luck with your speech
