Are online degrees worth the same as a regular degree?
Will an employer give you a job for getting one of those cheesy online degrees such as from the University of Phoenix? Do those have tests are do you just write papers?

- It depends on the school you attend............. there are schools that offer BA and MA and PhD for $799 or $899 without any work and with 7 - 10 business days. Those on-line schools are not the same as on-line schools that requires course work like traditional schools
- The University of Phoenix is not just online degrees. They have ground schools too. you just take the courses online. you have tests and it is a real degree. If you are looking for a flyby degree UOP is not the place for you. it is hard work and you have to be able to put hours into it. It takes a lot of will power to get an online degree.
- Check out this website: http://www.OnlineStudyInfo.com There are several pages that should help or use search on this site
- The key is to find a program that is fully accredited. Is it worth it? YES. My career has boomed since my MBA at nearly 4 years ago. I haven’t finished my PhD through distance education, and I am at the job that I want. I know I wouldn’t be here without the education. If you are looking at work in the U.S., then you need a school that is accredited by the Dept of Ed. I can give more info on that later. You should market yourself and not the degree or university. There are many traditional universities offering degrees that can be earned through online methods. Look at that if you are truly concerned with the name of the school. Good luck on your search!
