what are some reasons that people get online degrees rather than going to classes?

im doing a project to see what motive people have for getting their degrees online... any ideas? also, what do you beleive the pros and cons are?

1. it's easier for them rather than driving to school.. it's more comfortable that way..
2. I am considering it mainly for the convenience of working when I can and the lack of gas I will burn going to class. I am sure the disadvantage will be less contact with tutors and professors when I need help.
3. I got my degree online because I could do the work at my own pace, right at my kitchen table. I can tell you the two biggest cons are No interaction with other students, and no way to go to your professor if you need help.
