Airforce Wives? professional lives? I plan to be moving around a lot in my near future, but i am not sure what that means for my personal career. I am the soon to be wife of an airman. With this it means picking up and moving every couple of years for the next 20 years. Right now I don't have a definite plan other than a liberal arts degree. It is important to me that i be able to support myself but i am not sure what i can do that accommodates this lifestyle. Is there anything that you think could fit my life? I am honestly interested in everything. Business, Healthcare, Education, the Arts, ect. I like to think that I am a creative thinker. I want to finish out my education online. But if any one who can speak from experience what you did while your husband served our country. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! thank you.
Big education related questions.? I have a big dilemma in my hands. It turns out that I don't know what to do with my life. I am currently going to a college, but I have had no luck in picking a major I can stick with. I currently cannot even visualize a future for myself anymore. I graduated from a technical high school, with concentrations in Media Communications and Graphic Design. I know 2 languages and I would love to learn more. I tried taking a linguistic route to my education, but I would not find a job very easily in that field where I live. I am very creative and can follow directions really easily. I was a Boy Scout and Senior Patrol leader for my troop for 4 years. I was a life scout (1 before eagle) by the time I turned 18. I reached the other ranking in less than 2 and a half years. I have difficulties with math and sciences, especially math. I have not taken a math course since sophomore year in high school and even pre-calculus is beyond understanding. Same thing goes for science, whereas basic chemistry is incomprehensible. I extend my art to my writ ting as well, but anything past a 5 page paper becomes redundant. I have a hard time focusing on things I don't enjoy and procrastinate like there is no tomorrow. Also, I have horrid studying habits. I know that I should go directly to a counselor for this, but I already have. Even with his help, we cannot pin-point something of interest that can seem like a viable career in my area. So I come to yahoo. Here is the information that I would like help on answering and things that might help you answer my questions. What should I major in? What should my career be? Where can I find help online for my problem? How can I improve my studying habits and end my procrastination? Gender ,age and race: Male, 18, Hispanic (Puerto Rican). Area of residence and college attending: St. John Fisher College, Rochester NY. Previous majors and reasons for leaving them: Nursing - Did not see myself being a Nurse Biology Education - Math and Science issue. Modern Languages and Cultures - Major in spanish (Native tongue). Cannot see where I can find a stable job in the area. If there is anything else you might need to help me answer these questions, send me a message and I'll be glad to help you help me.

College degree advice needed asap!!!!? I currently go to the Art Institute online college and will b graduating very soon with a AA in Graphic Design. Thing is i hate graphic design (which is why im finishing the AA and not a BA like I was originally going to do). I am considering getting a degree in secondary education either in English or Art, but I want to make sure I'll like it. I have also though about art therapy but that is hard to find in a college. Any suggestions on a career for a creative person? Is teaching a good career? I love art, reading, writing, and like to help others-I am compassionate, I am also into fashion but am not sure that degree will get me anywhere. I'm desperate! I have to decide very very soon. Thanks!!!!!
I'm a student of Law, and I hate it, Haven't really attended classes for the last 3 yrs.? opting to change to Mass communication and Media in which I have a lot of experience as I help run big campaigns for NGO's and am good at networking with people. My initial love was writing.. MY dream job would be creative editor of a lifestyle magazine, i am also a very good photographer and love other creative outlets such as music, dance, arts, interior decorating, fashion, editing etc., NOW I AM YET TO TELL MY PARENTS ABOUT 2 yrs of not going to school, and its going to break their heart. I don't like law, i am an A+ student who passed out as valedictorian and this tendency of mine of not being able to go to classes coz i hate it so much, is very weird. Its not that its too hard and i cant score, I have scored well, topped even but I dont have any love or passion or feeling for it. I am very poor at public speaking and I have to be impassioned about something in order to actually do my best at it and law just isnt it. I got into law because my dad told me i'm so good with words and instead of being a struggling writer, i could earn loads of money, and keep writing on the side as well and then came the photography for which he said the same thing. :( HELP . I have no interest in law, save for human rights, family law and private international law, everything that deals with humans and their emotions, nothing else moves me. :( My skills are : networking, writing, content management, team building, non-profit management, project management, event management, photography, editing, creative anything, music. I've worked as a teacher asst at a school for children and special needs kids and Completed higher level education in French.. and right now am a campaign co-ordinator and conduct and run workshops for youth in sex and sexuality, gender, HIV and AIDS and sexual health I also run their online marketing and art and photography projects. Should I change courses? and How do I tell my parents ? @ Chris - I didn't know what I was really getting myself into, I loved the crowd of eclectic law school ppl i met before entering, I loved how apt and awesome everyone told me it would be for me. I went and there and discovered NA-UH. not my cup of tea or coffee :( so i did other things that i liked and for some stupid reason I didnt go to class. :(
What Masters program is right? i have a bachelors of arts in communication from the university of missouri- st. louis. i now want to go and get my masters and/or possibly some certificates. but i am torn between two paths. Public Relations or non-profit. i love being creative writing newsletters, making flyers, brochures, ect. but I love working with the non-profit sector doing those things. I worked for a city a while back doing their pr for their parks and recreation department and loved it. then we were moved (AD Army) to AL. currently i volunteer my time and talent to pr for Blue Star Mothers of America. I did the MO chapter and now am working on the first AL chapter. here is what i require: program online from accredited source (i may pursue my education after this) and what program? I just don't know what program i should go with? i guess pr and then get a few certificates in non-profit sector? it HAS to be online. no exceptions. Thanks for the links so far, but none of them offered online programs that i could find. since we are AD Army we will be moving alot. we will be in AL for at least two years.
